Not all of my woodworking projects are large in scale. Sometimes the pieces are designed for a specific use while others are simply a good use of scrap wood.
Dane's Wine Rack
This was a wedding gift for my friend Dane. Sculpted rack and base, with turned feet. Holds six wine bottles the cantilever out from the holes in the rack.
Candy Box - Humidor
This was actually made scrap wood....very expensive scrap wood. I was thinking about how I'd design my rendition of a bombe style chest of drawers, so I decided to make a scaled down version first with this candy box. If I lined the inside with Spanish cedar, it would make a great humidor.
